Unbelievably unprofessional. We recently held a memorial service for a family member, and were sadly disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by the people working at the cemetery.

We buried my husband seven years ago next month and purchased a tree , since 2010 we have had four trees put back in there because they keep dying , I went up there to visit him and the tree that he has now that they put in last year is dying, I went to the front office let them know that that tree was dying I did not want another tree put in there I just wanted my money back the man told me that the tree is still alive The tree is turning brown all the leaves are limp , he proceeded to tell me that I am supposed to go up there and fertilize the tree and water it I have never been told that I have to do anything to anything up there . And they keep putting new trees in every year and I find out that it's a new tree when I go up to visit him . He kept wanting to argue and say the tree wasn't dad he kept cutting me off every time I go to talk very disrespectful up there and very rude !

An employee failed to bring the cremains of the departed until halfway through the service (despite having them for over 24 hours before), then unceremoniously plopped the cremation vessel down on top of the flowers (duct tape still attached to it to keep it closed during shipping). Let me make this clear- the cemetery was unable to get the remains of

Then I asked him if dirt could be put over top of my mom she's been there three years and for three years I have gone to the front desk and I have called up there and asked please put dirt on my mom I went up there again today she still had no dirt and I had called up there a month ago asking again put dirt on my mom so of course now I'm crabby and I'm heated so I told them that I was going to put dirt on her if it wasn't done within two weeks and I would send him the bill . I took pictures of Dead flowers on Graves dying trees water bottles laying all over the place and when he told me they keep up on this place I told him that they were not doing their job very well that it was a complete mess . If I could move my mom and my husband somewhere else I would . I do not recommend this cemetery to anyone I give it a total thumbs down

This Roseland Park Cemetery was asked by the family if they accepted outside caskets. The cemetery responded by saying what brand is the casket. The cemetery accepts all brands of caskets because they have to. The funeral homes are charging typically thousands of dollars more than the prices online. Shop online for your casket before visiting the funeral home. The cemetery accepts all brands of caskets. Don't be fooled by the cemetery.

the deceased to her own memorial until it was halfway over. Not a word of apology was ever issued over this failure to perform the most basic of cemetery duties.

Add that to the employee who met us up front, wearing more glittery lotion than a disco ball, and the other employee who tore up in his gator with dirt in the bed- seemingly ready to thrust our loved one into the ground and bury her if we would only hurry up with our pesky mourning- and it combined to be the most unprofessional, disrespectful experience in a cemetery we've ever endured.

Richard, in the office, was very personable and professional when we visited. Located my grandfather's plot, answered many questions, even visited the plot with us to help confirm other family members' locations. Headstones sink: gravity, weather, and especially time all act to draw Headstones below grade. We inquired about what we could do and he said we will elevate the stones for you.

Some comments here do not take into account the overwhelming responsibility caring for 10s of thousands of burial sites. Many of which have not been visited by a family member in years, decades maybe. If they correct the ravages of time when called to attention by a family member, I believe that is reasonable.

neglectful environment. Makes me really sad to know in my moment of sadness and loss that I would have to worry about whether a cemetery actual took care of their grounds. They know you cannot un-bury someone and I feel like that take advantage of that :(
